Launched in 2007, Parasol unit’s educational events programme provides visitors of all ages with the opportunity to engage with contemporary art through a wide variety of dynamic events and activities.

Parasol unit’s Sunday Family Workshops offer creative afternoons of art activities suitable for all 5-15 year old and levels of ability. The foundation works regularly with local artist educators to deliver a dynamic array of activities as a means of exploring the current exhibitions, ranging from clay-modelling, mask making and lino printing to photography and moving image workshops.
